This policy explains what personal data lamad.io collects, why, and how it is handled. lamad.io is a personal Hebrew learning project operated by an individual based in Israel.
2. What We Collect
Account data
- Your email address and name, provided when you register
- Authentication tokens used to keep you logged in (stored as a 60-day session cookie)
Learning data
- Every answer you submit (the challenge, your response, a score, and a timestamp)
- A running summary score per challenge, used to prioritize what to show you next
We do not collect payment information, location data, or any data beyond what is listed above.
3. Why We Collect It

4. Third-Party Services
We use Brevo (brevo.com) to send transactional emails (login links). Your email address is passed to Brevo for this purpose only. Brevo's privacy policy is available at brevo.com/legal/privacypolicy.
No other third parties receive your data. We do not sell, rent, or share your data for advertising.
5. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will delete your account data and learning history within 30 days.
6. Cookies and Sessions
lamad.io uses a single persistent session cookie to keep you logged in for up to 60 days. No third-party tracking or advertising cookies are used.
7. Your Rights
Under Israeli privacy law and GDPR (if applicable), you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your account and data
- Withdraw consent at any time

8. Data Security
Your data is stored in a private database on a secured server. Access is restricted to the operator. We apply reasonable technical measures to protect your data, but no system is completely secure.
9. Children
lamad.io is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has registered, please contact us and we will delete the account.
